I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience in Africa. This is where my love for it began. It shapes your heart and changes you, without you even realizing it. Ever since I visited, I had a longing to go back. The people with “the least” seemed the happiest. No one ever complains, and everyone wants to help others how ever they can. The animals, the food, the adventure, it just doesn’t much better than that.
Cape Town
Cape Town absolutely stole my heart. The beaches, the penguins, the food and people, everything! Jumping in the freezing Indian ocean and climbing Lions Head and Tabletop mountains were among my favorite adventures here. We were signed up to cage dive with Great White’s, but weather unfortunately cancelled us. Thankfully, we got to cross that off our bucket list on one of our later trips.
